Ambrosia Honey

led by Jane Pishko

This has been our on-going project for 2019.  This will be the last class time for those who are participating.  Everyone will need to continue to work on this project on their own and at stitch-in’s.  However, please come even If you did not sign up for this project and bring something to stitch on.  We always enjoy having our members as well as  visitors in attendance to visit and maybe put a stitch or two in on a project they are working on.

Stumpwork Butterfly

taught by Marilyn Milton

This beautiful butterfly was designed by Judy Jeroy for the EGA-FB SAL.  Come and learn this wonderful technique using wire, fabric and thread to make this butterfly appear lifelike!  You will be inspired to make more than just one!

Marilyn taught us the beginning steps of how to transform fabric, wire and thread  into beautiful life-like butterflies.  She had created a couple of examples that show different ways of displaying them as well.   We will have a program next year on how to finish them and attach them to a canvas or other type of display.

 Monthly Stitch-In

Fourth Tuesday of the Month

Time:  7-9 PM

October 22

November – Cancelled – Thankgiving week

Usual Location:  Holy Cross Lutheran Church

1200 Foxfire

College Station, TX  77845

There are no meetings in December and in June we sometimes alter location due to Vacation Bible School being held here.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly get togethers  are where we meet and have a short business meeting, including a show-and-tell to see what the members have been stitching on, an education update as to programs and workshops we will be having and a regional update which will highlight some of the South Central Region (SCR) and National EGA workshops and classes which are offered.   Each meeting has the opportunity for a “short-talk” about a particular topic of needlework interest and a small project to learn for the evening.

Guests are always welcome.

Monthly Stitch-Ins

This is a stitching get together so bring something to stitch on or get help with something you have a question on or even a problem related to a piece you are stitching.   See what other stitchers are working on.  We have a wide variety of stitching levels and interests among our group. Come and share needlework tips, tricks and ideas with our group.

Guests are always welcome.
